Build a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 tenant administration by learning how to navigate and manage the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This module covers user and mailbox provisioning, administrative roles and privileges, custom domain configuration, license and subscription management, organization-wide settings, and an overview of the specialized admin centers available across Microsoft 365. By the end of the module, students will understand the core administrative tasks required to configure and manage a Microsoft 365 environment.

In this hands-on lab, students will gain practical experience creating and provisioning users in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Participants will work through the user onboarding process, configure essential account information, assign appropriate Microsoft 365 licenses, and verify that users have access to the required services. This module provides practical experience administering Exchange Online in Microsoft 365. Students will learn mailbox management, shared and regular mailbox conversion, email forwarding, retention policies, mail flow and transport rules, quarantine management, and the Tenant Allow/Block List. They will also use Message Trace to investigate email delivery and troubleshoot common mail flow issues.

This module introduces students to the administration of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. Students will learn how to create and manage SharePoint sites, Microsoft 365 Groups, users and permissions, document libraries, and internal and external sharing. They will also explore OneDrive administration, storage and access management, and understand how SharePoint and OneDrive integrate with other Microsoft 365 collaboration services.

This module introduces students to Microsoft Teams administration, covering team and group creation, membership management, standard, private and shared channels, guest and external access, messaging and meeting policies, app management, and organization-wide settings. Students will also learn how Teams integrates with Microsoft 365 Groups, SharePoint, and OneDrive, while developing practical skills for managing and troubleshooting common Teams issues.
Students will learn how to navigate the Microsoft Teams Admin Center, create and manage Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups, manage owners, members, and guests, and configure standard, private, and shared channels. Lessons will also cover guest and external access, messaging and meeting policies, Teams app management, policy assignments, organization-wide settings, and the relationship between Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 Groups. Students will also be introduced to common Teams administration and troubleshooting scenarios involving user access, membership, channels, and policies.
Students will complete hands-on exercises that simulate real-world Microsoft Teams administration, including creating and configuring a Team, managing owners, members, and guests, and creating standard, private, and shared channels. They will explore the Microsoft 365 Groups and SharePoint resources connected to Teams, configure and assign messaging and meeting policies, manage guest and external collaboration settings, and work with Teams app policies. The lab will also introduce common troubleshooting scenarios involving user access, team membership, channel permissions, and policy assignments.
