Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

Week 1 introduces the core concepts of Microsoft 365 administration. Students will learn how Microsoft 365 environments work, how identities are managed, how licenses are assigned, and how administrators secure and monitor enterprise cloud environments.

Students will learn what Microsoft 365 is, how organizations use it, and the responsibilities of a Microsoft 365 administrator. This includes understanding cloud services like Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.

Learn how Microsoft 365 tenants are created and configured. Students will understand domains, subscriptions, regions, organizational settings, and how businesses structure their cloud environments.

Students will learn how administrators create users, manage passwords, reset accounts, configure groups, and handle identities using Microsoft Entra ID. Identity management is one of the most important responsibilities in Microsoft 365 administration.

Roles & Access Control

Learn how organizations control permissions in Microsoft 365. Students will understand administrator roles, role-based access control (RBAC), and why least-privilege access is important for security.

License & Subscription Management

Students will learn how Microsoft licenses work, how subscriptions are assigned to users, and how organizations manage Microsoft 365 services and billing.
